Interview - With Mr.Wilde
Want to find out more about the creator of Photoshopchop.com.  Get his insight on what is to come and some personal things about the guy.

Interviewer:
Mr Wilde what exactly got you into creating photoshopchop.com

Mr.Wilde:
Well it all started when I was on a forum called www.dodgeintrepid.net.  There was a user by the name of Mathwiz that was really fantastic at shopping cars.  I started with small tutorials and really was never that good, but I had a passion for cars and photoshop.  I then stumbled across a site called www.photoshopjunkie.com. This is where I received most of my inspiration and limited talent.  ("chuckle, chuckle").  From here after I had mastered the basics I decided to make my own site.  Version 1 of Photoshopchop.com was born in late 2001.  It wasn't much to look at but after Junkie went down due to bandwidth and money limitations we were open game with photo-chop.com. We just kind of caught on and here we are today.

Interviewer:
What direction is
www.photoshopchop.com moving in?

Mr.Wilde:
There are many directions that we are looking to take the site in.  One aspect is that we are starting to move the site into the print scene.  Getting our community known in some automotive magazines in the works right now and you should be seeing us in Performance Auto and Sound www.pasmag.com in April of 2006.  A little ways away, but it will be worth it.  We are also starting to branch out of our regular tutorials and we plan on making non automotive photoshop tutorials as well.  We may branch this off and create another site.  We are still thinking things through.  Something else that has peaked our interest is getting out to some of the autoshows and putting together some home grown images on the site.  Increase the hotties section and create a new gallery with concepts and rare cars.  Maybe with a bio of the owner and a quick review of the car.  The possibilities are endless and there are a few things that we are just going to keep under wraps for now.

Interviewer:
Getting a little personal do you have a girlfriend?

Mr.Wilde:
I do currently have a great girlfriend.  I am not single and very happy with whom im with.

Interviewer:
What kind of car do you drive Mr.Wilde?

Mr.Wilde:
I am currently driving a Black 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible.  If anyone is wondering I have a nice Olds site www.americanoldsmobile.com It is a nice daily driver for now, but this winter im planning on picking up a 69 Camaro RS to start restoring.

Interviewer:
It has been very nice chatting with you Mr.Wilde, but I have one last question.  Do you fear your current competition right now.  I see there are a lot of other sites like Digimods and MonsterMonster coming up very quickly with a new edge and appeal.  What do you plan on doing?

Mr.Wilde:
I don't plan on doing anything except what im already doing.  They have just as much right to be in the market as any of us.  I actually welcome them to the small community.  We have to make this community grow and the more the merrier is what I say.  CHEERS!!
