i havn't been doing chops long but this is one of my better ones... i had 2 attempts at this heres the first

carbon was my best bit on this one i thought otherwise the rest is all pretty standard then i upgraded and did this version

my first attempt at brushing my own kit. tried some new led lights and i also came up with the idea of half chrome half carbon fibre rims which i think worked well :D had a go at a flip paint job to amongst other things

comments and constructive criticism welcome

ummm, the first one looks the best, but "brushed ur OWN kit"? it looks like u just stretched th ebottom, but w/e, the edges dont look so great, should clean those up, but carbon fibre rims? that possible? they'd like break, and it looks like u added noise or u blurred it...w/e. nice try!

added noise on the rims you mean? no just darkened them.....as for the realism factor valid point they would break but i was going for something different more than realistic if you get me.....the front end was brushed although i see where your coming from.....any tips or advice? i can see it needs improving

carbon fiber rims exist.. i forgot who makes em, but they've been out for a long time.. like.. 3 years or so?

as far as the chop goes, you need to use high-res donors, or shrink your car down to the wheels' size.. because they're both highly pixelated. the headlights, if i were you i'd find a car that had projectors already.. like the alfa romeo from contest 33. I see you were just trying to paint the lip, problem is you went from a lip on the left to an extended bumper on the right. you need to look at how the light reflects on the original chop and follow that with your shading. The fmic is good, but the piping is low-res.. you just need some hi-res donors & some practice.
