lokks quite good, but one other thing i noticed about the car was that it has ferrari wheels(it looks tacky on a peugeot) i suggest making a bolt out of it or vhange it to a wheel symbol.if you know what i mean. i quite like the blue carbon fibre hood.

Just to make sure I do it correctly, did you just have a layer under that was colored and darkened??? It is how I do it, but I am fairly new to photoshop, and carbon fiber esp... want to make sure I have the right idea.

2 ways to do it..
i put a layer betwin carbon patt and the original hood desturated and change its opacity to 09-20% ..
or i make 2 layers of the carbon pattern and change the first one color on the adjustaments- color balance

what I do is this...
1. copy hood
2.desaturate hood
3.duplicate
4.put the CF pattern in the middle of the 2 hoods
5.group the cf pattern with the bottom hood. or you can mask it
6.set the top hood layer to "hard light"
7.lower the opacity of the CF layer if needed.

8. sit back and enjoy.
