how do u put a lot of horizontal lines in your sig??? :confused:

download this
open the .psd
Edit > Define Pattern
Open your picture
Make a new layer
Edit > Fill
Find the pattern
Hit OK
YOUR DONE!

That is a wide line pattern. For TV Scan lines (as they are called) I have used the following;

Create a new file (ctrl+N) with a size of 1 wide x 2 high. Zoom in real close so you can see the pixels and select the pencil tool. Color the top pixel black and the lower white if you used a transparent background. Then proceed as OmicroN described, Edit>Define Pattern . . .

This creates a set of lines that are close together and when a layer blending mode is selected you can get some really different effects. Also watch your opacity. Good Luck

Here is a quick mod of your sig using the fine lines. I also put a layer mask on the fades it out from top to bottom.
