Hello! I'm new to this forum, pretty new to chopping. Thought I'd post a chop I just finished -- I'm trying to get better at brushing and would appreciate any feedback. Seems like some awesome artists on PSC

I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right forum...mod, please let me know if I'm not.

Thanks

Yeh your posting it in the right section, there isnt many sections here (we really need a "new choppers section", like on other sites)

not saying chop is bad, its great for an early chop
cant see many faults, but it would of looked more realistic with some reflections, added from the new background

looks pretty good. i agree with what martin said about the reflections. other than that, i do see a few smudges here and there, as well as a few jagged selections, but all in all, not a bad chop!

Nice
Not a bad chop but you can try to make some lines sharper

The Concept seems cool but the execution is a little shaky.

...
i don't think this is a good idea, because who will set the difference between a new chopper and another one?? it would be a bit of racism or something like that imo...

anyways... good work
can't see many flaws so keep it up!

well its on other sites, so if its your first chop, you post it in that section, just a suggestion

The idea of a newb section has been tossed around in the past...I'm pretty sure it's not gonna happen...it seems to seperate people and that's not why we're here. Besides, if all the 'pro' choppers are in the same section as the 'newb' choppers then the newbs have that much more of a chance to get some decent replies from them...

I think that's a great point joemomma95, and as a newb, I really appreciate the comments from pros.

I also like being in the same forum as I'm more likely to see really good work that I can learn from, just by browsing through the forum...if I have a separate section I'll probably just be hanging out with other new choppers.

I'll also be more likely to ask questions if I feel "allowed" in with the heavy hitters.

Yeah... I don't see any reason to split it into groups, although if there are people that like to type like nOObs then I'd suggest a separate area... In a Gran Turismo forum I went to that room was called the Drifting room. http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/8500/lol4fp.gif
