View Full Version : My First Chop for this site

Hi,

This is my first chop for this site, entered in contest.

I shortened it, added rims from a gt40, changed colour, added carbon fibre of course, changed background, added highlights, changed headlights, altered door frame, hood line and fog lamps. Nothing to outrageous, I would drive it though.

ha ha very cool i like the whole outta scale thing like the massive lights and tiny scale car!! but like every newb, ur cf is crap! try and use a different tutorial cos that 1 jsut isnt very good! u will learn in time! good luck uve got more skills than a few ppl on here who have been doin it for monthes!!! good luck ;)

Looks really good, and IMO, the carbon fiber looks really well done.

Fact is the CF pattern is just TOO large for that camera distance.
Its gray where it should be darker, and the pattern shouldn't even really be seen.

However, the work done is quite good.
This isn't your very FIRST chop though is it?

The BG is a great choice, the GT wheels are great,
I like the light repositioning, and the resizing.
The proportional changes are quite good. The subtle
reflection work is great. All are evidence of smart
and forward thinking.

One thing I don't really care for is the change in
angle of the b-pillar. Otherwise I like it very much.
