I'm new user on forum and I'm very desperate with this problem:
Highlight and shadows on my art

This is my art Peugeot 206.
I make on CorelDraw X3,

I want know on Photoshop wich is the technique because I want make do it again on CS2.
And I need to learn how can I do this effect: Light, Highligh and shadow.

I was waching on entire Internet sites, and I not found anything about this technique.

that first one is absolutlet beutiful, I love it

Im not to sure what your asking, but i know that the burn tool does shadows, and the dodge tool does highlights

bloody hell, thats some good tooning on the peugeot, but that subaru is somthing else, the engine detailing

But my doubt is how make do this,

Sample: Create a vector highlight starting with the white color, than after I going adjusting?

Or I make a mask selection of the highlights format and than I use de dodge tool to create reflexes?

My doubt is: What is the first step to create a hightlights?

And the worst is that I'm looking in all websites about photoshop and don't exist a little tutorial.

i dont know anything about toooning but at a guess amma goint to say make smaller selections and move slider up on white ( ETC )

i would reccomend going to dangeruss.net he explains some of his technique, i believe he uses photoshop, illustrator and a 3d program to create his "vexels"
