well, a few of you may remember the very first chop i did, almost exactly a year ago, a dodge dakota SRT-10. the was, to say the least, pretty bad. facing a bit of chopper's block, i decided to go back and re-do this beginning chop of mine. WIP so far, but plenty more to come. mostly C&P, with a tiny bit of brushing...so far.

looks good... but widen the **** out of those wheels... also id give it a lower stance... wheel gap is not your friend if you plan on having any performance when it comes to handling

Looks good so far, maybe lower it little, change mirrors, some wider wheels and maybe open the doors, rear door suicide style and front 1 normal.

make it a two door
as you can see, thats what i did the first time around. ill probably do it this time, too.

but widen the **** out of those wheels

i will. at the moment, im trying to find a good donor for the tire tread. im gonna go for some performance rubber, instead of off road tires.

thanks for the C&C, guys. more updates are sure to follow.

Extend the bonnet. It's housing a Viper V-10, for God's sake!

the bay is plenty big enough to house an SRT motor... treads look good, along with the lowering chop... how about deep dishing that back wheel???

the truck looks really badass now...that tire tread looks hella nice and the stance of the truck is greatly improved. I agree with Carty, you should make the rear wheel deeper, and perhaps getting rid of that chrome trim on the front bumpers and sides, to make it look sportier.

it's really badass man...I suggest you lower it a bit more, put like 1.5 degrees of negative camber on the rear and remove some of that chrome trim to make it look more like a sports truck. after that i'd definately rock it :D

ps don't forget HID headlights ;)

put like 1.5 degrees of negative camber on the rear

how's that going to work with a straight axle truck :D

well, clearly, its got the rear end from a viper swapped in there.

i dont think it needs to be lowered any more. and ceff, i dont quite know how i would measure 1.5 degrees of camber, but i think i might be able to guess at it. thanks guys...keep watching for updates. probably wont be one for a few days. ive got a big project for my PS class, and i havent started yet...

Looking good Mike.
The hood scoop and rear spoiler are nice additions.
It still looks a bit high to me. Lowering it a bit more and different tires/rims (wider) would improve the agressiveness. I would also yank the license plate and as ceff suggested, maybe even loose the chrome door/bumper molding to make it nice and clean.

god wildman I can't believe you missed the fact it had a Viper rear end

JK bro. anyways yeah what I meant by 1.5 degrees is just a little bit, like road course style, not VIP or minitruck style...lol

Have fun with your PS project, we have such lame PS classes at our school, the most advanced stuff done in the "Photoshop" course are like selection tools & filters. LAME!

But get an update soon!

Sweet, really realistic, looks real infact.. only mistake that I catch are the rear tires, they have no shadow.

Get rid of the rear wing its a bit blurry and its not in the same collor with the truck.Look closer.Other than that very good job.Keep it up.
