New wrx...whatcha think?

after tons of pics of the wagon, i finally found some of the sedan. i dont think its quite as bad as the wagon, but still...something missing. what are your opinions on the 08 wrx sedan and wagon?

to me, the front of both look like a chevy impala. the overall shape of the wagon looks like a mazda 3, and the rear end of the sedan looks a lot like a legacy (something done right), but with hints of chevy aveo. liking the dual exhaust on the sedan, but overall, it seems to lose its muscular feel and looks more...econocar.

I can see the pics, and i have to say a disapointed, doesnt have a rally car look to it like the overs. I have to say id rather have an evo/ lancer :)

The new Subaru WRX STI is a disappointment, I am sad to say they have killed the WRX officially. They better redeem themselves in the future, this is the kind of crap that is pulled when some new hotshot car designers come in thinking their stuff is so much better. Fire this designer, please...

I agree the new subie just has a funky look to it.
You know how you can put your hands to the side of your eyesockets and pull backward to get that "Asian eye" look. Its what it reminds me of.
The new "G" is sweet but im still unsure about those headlights.
I have an 05 coupe and like the distinctive rounded or curved design that the "G" was developed around. This elongated and pointed front is hard for me to glam onto.
I guess we may grow to like these changes, as we see them more.

I either dont like the new evo cuz it looks so heavy and should rather be the new galant...
damn now when i see the sedan its even more ugly! its a bmw3lighted , bmw 5 sided ,small chrysler crossfire grilled ugly piece of ****^^its totally goes the japanese car image... big wobbly ugly body with small wheels^^damn i hate that car.... and i even thought the newest available impreza is kinda ugly LOL

Yeah. The Impreza hasnt been that great of a car. I'd go with the Evo...especially the new X coming out very soon. Check it out online or in mags but its gonna be sweet! 300hp i think, maybe 330hp. Sorry Subaru...but i think the legacy finally passed the Impreza in looks. lol. hey, the new Legacy dont look half bad.

STi - performance wise has always kept up with the Evo, and vice versa -- so dont say one is worse-off than the other. The whole reason they went to the wagon is for weight distribution; wagons do better in the WRC... and so shall be the next generation STi.
