This is one of the first times I've tried putting a bodykit on a car. I think it has come out pretty well. Changes:
Bodykit from Toyota Corolla SR
Rims from a Cadillac XLR
Lowered
Smoothed
Intercooler
Background change
Other little bits too

Before:

Chopped:

Comments appreciated :)

Don't use lense flares for headlights, and you may want to find a new side skirt thats not so pixelated...everything else looks fairly well done.

What are you surposed to use for headlights then?

Is this better?: (headlights off and less pixelated side skirt)

Looks pretty good, like that mean look. Lens Flare ruins everything, and the question you asked "Then what are you supposed to use for headlights?", well, I dont quite get what your question is asking... headlights..? Well use the cars headlights... but don't open 'em, leave them turned off, using lens flare just ruins the pic.

I meant, What could you use to turn headlights on apart from lens flare! Never mind! I'll just leave um off.

lol - you have to use a few layers; and use layer modes. There's a lot of different ways to do it depending on the effect you want; the one i'm posting below is 3 layers; white & blue for headlights; yellow for fogs. All in 'screen' mode. I do the same thing for the amber signals. You have to mess with the brush sizes a lot to get the right 'feel' for realism. But stay away from lenseflare unless you're imitating the glare of the sun on the camera lense.

Here is a 'side-angle' shot of headlights on: [dodge caliber PASmag entry]

That looks much better than the lens flare. I'll give it a go sometime, thanks!
