Hey guys,

Been chopping for a while now and thought i might see if i can do better. i tend to go for clean lines with my chops rather than outrageous monstrosities.

Here's my latest - a mazda 2. i went for a 'tii' cross Ford FPV FG Falcon look. a few ms logos and some mx-5 stock rims pretty much complete it. what do you think?

**The intercooler still needs some finishing as does the headlights.**

cmd.

Third Mazda :D. First the 3, I did the 6 and now the 2, I'm liking this:P. By they way welcome to PSC, I noticed this is your first post, you have a lot to learn...

The intercooler and headlights do need work, focus on your selections, spend a bit more time on your work and it will be top notch. Background change was pretty good, although I can see the old background through the window lol, you might want to fix some of that. I like the rims but they are blurry, try to find another pic with those rims because they would fit perfect if they were cleaner...

keep it up...

Yeah don't worry about the windows, it's a common mistake, I've seen even :: Ace :: miss out on that one;p... It's not the bad in the front windowshield but the rear window I can see pretty clear lol

For the wheels some people try to fix blurry-ness with the sharpen tool, I try to avoid that because it will never be perfect. Keep seraching for high resolution pics. Here are a few good sites just look around for a car at the right angle

i was thinking id use the sharpen tool but hey if the crowd say no...

i used 1024x768 mazda mx5 from netcarshow - where i get most my pics. maybe i should get the same pic but 1600x1200?

and just looking at the pic now, i think the tyres need a bit more shadow...

looks like i got some work ahead of me.

The size of the picture has almost nothing to do with it, as long as you're making the wheels smaller and not bigger. All that matters is that it's good quality and the right angle, you should be resizing it equally, make sure you hold shift when resizing to make it fit, if it does not look right then you know it's not the correct angle.

welcome to PSC :)
and looks good but as mglavina said it needs work you have the right idea its just getting it right
your headlights are blury
maybe but some mesh on the front where the grill should be
also your IC seems to be sticking out i recon it should be back abit and just a bit darker
also your front lip looks a some highlights and shadows because its just one colour as with ur sideskirt

looks much better but you should lower the opacity when you are putting the trees in ,the ones you can see through the rear window,it makes them look a little more realistic. and usually the intercooler is pretty sunk in a bumper not resting on it.
nice job man!
