i like this chop, the brushing is farely good, needs a lil bit of work in regards to lighting and reflections but the CF is really good. overalll nice chop.

dude, i know ive seen better from you. it looks like to squished down the entire car! and if you look, the resolution of the wheels doesnt match the car itself at all!

Sinic,
I know your trying hard and you have a great eye for design but when you do a lot of brushing I see this similar result.
Hope you dont mind but I thought i'd give some pointers and show an example to help you out.
First of all when you do a total rebrush like this its best to select the entire portion and lay down a good gradient base.
Then build on that using subtle shading and highlights or low lights.
It appears you made a bunch of selections and used many drastic gradients.
I also think you do a lot of random brush splotches which tends to ruin your smoothness and plays havoc with lighting.
For the sake of instruction, if you dont mind, I would like to continue chopping this to show how I would build on this base for a more conventional result.
I dont mind providing the .psd file when done for you or anyone else to use as reference.
This isnt to single you out by any means bro, you have turned out some real good work but I know brushing can be tough. I really dont consider myself the greatest at it either but I have done enough to maybe offer up a few good tidbits of info that may be of use.
Anyhow, heres an example of a starting base I would use in this instance using your car.

thanks davinci, have to agree with twink, lets see a tut.

OK fellas, heres what I got after a couple hours using the base I showed you.
A total re-brush of the original with the exception of the areas Sinic did, which I liked so I kept.
I just wanted to show how important the base is and building on top of it by adding shapes and then adjusting layer properties, opacities and various tools to blend and blur accordingly. The skirts, bumper and wheel flares were simply shaped out with the pen tool and filled with a solid color and then either color dodged or color burned in spots to get the appropriate lighting. I also cut and pasted a roll bar, cut and trimmed the Apexi graphic so I could shape it to the contour of the glass and then adjust the brightness and contrast. I also cut and pasted the upper garage for a reflection on the windshield, reshaped the front wheel some and adjusted the color of the wheels with Hue/Saturation. Threw a couple of other things in there for fun too.
I would normally take 3 or 4 times as long on this sort of a chop but really just wanted to respond as quick as I could with something while the thread is still fresh. I noticed the mention to make a tute, which really needs to be done while its in process and brushing tutes are difficult to do which is why there arent that many.
Let me think on it and see if I can de-evolutionize this to be able to come up with some screen shots and more detailed instructions for more of a step by step tute. I know it would be more beneficial. :D

wow...:D:D:D
looks great, turned out to be a nice team chop of sorts.
really like the line on the door to signify the widebody.
i can say i am lazy to the point that i never make the body parts there own layer..seems that may be my problem.
i know in the tut i originally referred to for brushing specify's that point.
i will be more methodical in my layer making from now on,please if you have time, break it down davinci.
im really busy right now so chopping has to take a back seat to my other art, but i have something waiting in the back.:D
