alright im not going to be getting a car till im 16, which is in 3 months. hopefully, ill get either a honda civic, mistu eclipse, or (my fav) a dodge avenger.
before i get into this whole mess, i gotta hand it to ya, youre car is pimped out. but if you do in fact have a stock engine and stock brakes/springs/etc i think you wasted your money. cavaliers arent bad cars, especially with body kits and **** but with a grandma tuggin engine what the hell is the point of having the rims and whatever else you got supplied??

Well as far as other stuff other than looks that i have... I do have lowering springs, Brake upgrade, Engine mount upgrade, intake. 2 1/2" cat back exuast system. But thats about it. I'm not going to put crap loads of money into a 2.2 Cuz it aint gonna be going much faster. I'm not a guy who races so I dont worry about those type of things. If i'm winning trophies at car shows, then i'm happy. :P

hey ricing usually refers to jap cars, which are more commonly riced and are also easier to rice because there are more parts and upgrades available. Rice doesnt happen to american cars. Hamburguring is what happens... seeing thats american food.

Yeah, I'll give you that the work on the interior is really nice, 2k was factoring in labor... but $18000 is 4 times too high? That means your car, and all the mods, cost $4500. No. *******. Way.

As far as the car, I think it's ok, as long as that's your style. It's not my style but everyone has different ways of looking at things. If the guy wants to spend 2 million dollars on it I could care less, it's not my money. And yes, I wish it were my money, cause it would definately be spent differently. I'm guessing alot of you wouldn't like to see a big huge Jeep Wrangler lifted beyond belief with every bell and whistle you could imagine? Well that's exactly how I'd spend the money, so kiss my azz!!

I really think this thread shoulda been locked about 5 or 6 pages back but hey, if some people get off bein azzholes let em do it I guess. Haven't seen any other rides posted that would even compare to that Cavalier.

BTW, I'd LOVE to see pics of the Tercel 'drifting', that's gotta be great to see. My guess is it'd look more like a little pile of crap coming around the corner out of control about to flip on it's lid. Seriously, your probably one of those dudes that think your a master drifter cause you can take a corner at 30 mph, which is definately NOT what I'd call drifting...

I thought you you were saying my car was 18,000 stock.
the car was $2,750 STOCK when i bought it.
I had the rims and tail lights and audio system already.
I put around 5,000 into it. It might be a little more than that, i havnt added stuff up in a while. The most expensive thing that went on the car was the airbrushed flames. $1500

To all the people that say the car is slow.. Your right. And i dont care. All i do is show it, and hope to bring home trophies. I'm not interested in racing in any way. But at least its not a trailer queen, It is a everyday driver (just not during the winter).

Some people will go to great lengths to make them selves feel better about them, he can't own this car so he mabey making fun of the owner to make himself feel better.

Thats cool, IMO, about 90% of these people on this forum have speed on the brain, and Im one of them, but its cool what your doing with it. Speed isent everything.
