I'm not a fan of the colors but... I will actually comment on your skill/etc...

It is actually done fairly well, and looks pretty convincing. Gold is tough sometimes, hard color to get...yours may have a touch of green to much in there, maybe make it more towards the orage side of the yellow in Pshop.

The theme of this car is suppose to be a 70's pimpmobile.
The color purple was a popular choice at the time. :D
