Hi guys,
I've got an idea that might be a bit of fun...It's called pass the chop.

The idea is that we all work on one chop - together. So i will post a base then call out who i am passing to, that person does one or maybe two mods to the car then posts up their finished piece and calls out the next member that they want to pass to who will again do 1 or 2 mods and post up / pass on (& declare your mods).

This could be an interesting way to pass the long wait during voting weeks and maybe encourage a bit more conversation / discussion on the forum.

So here it is, the base i have selected to start with:

I'm calling out Roadkill to start the mods rolling!

Remember guys, just one or two mods at a time (so everyone can have some input) & please try not to pass straight back to the last person who was involved!!

No minimum or maximum time limits so just have fun!

If you're new or want it to be passed to you next, feel free to shout out so we all know who's waiting!!

By the way guys, when you call out the next person, it might be worth sending them a PM also so that they get a notification and can pick up the chop ASAP.

this sounds like a brilliant idea, im interested to see what sort of chops will be produced by different levels of photoshop skills being used on each chop :) also if the person called out is taking to long to reply to the challenge can somebody willing to go next shoutout that they are going next

That's a good idea. If we give the recipient a maximum of 24 hours to confirm they're 'picking up the ball'. If not then the first person to state that they're taking it is up!!

This should be great !

Interesting idea, hehe..it could either end up looking really cool or a goofy monstrosity.

But I sure can't hover on this site waiting for notice, if selected. Since the site is worldwide and we may be up to 12hrs apart on the clock at the same moment with varied work schedules accordingly, I suggest setting the cut-off time for the hand-off to the next person to be at midnight (their local time) on the following calendar day so there's at least a 24hr window for that next person to sign-in and continue.

I understand what you're saying and I do agree to an extent, however doing it the way you suggest would be pretty complicated in terms of admin (having to know where each member is and their time zone) so I think it's better if we just stick to 24hours from call out.
It's not the end of the world if someone doesn't have time to pick up the chop. It's just a quick fire back and forth chop!

Hope we're all in agreement on that front?
This is already fun and it's only been lowered!

This practice of sending a PM to the next person would resolve my concern.

Ok, here are my quick mods:

custom front bumper (bigger mouth & open side vent)
de-badged side / removed aerial

I'm going to try something different - rather than calling out one person specifically, i will say, whoever is the first person to comment and say they're up takes it! Please make sure you state that you are taking the chop if you want it!

Also, please be aware that with this photo passing, the res leaves a lot to be desired, but we need to just carry on as best we can! (hence my sketchy vent edge!)
