Quick Reply Feature

Im not sure if this has been talked about before and even tho Im not really a NOOB I didnt wanna search lol. On some other forums I browse they have the feature of quick reply. This would be alot faster and maybe get more people to reply to chops becuz lately ppl have been complaining about no replys. I 2 get frustrated when I get no comments and I personally think a quick reply feature would help get alot more ppl participating instead of just looking. What do you all think?

Yup, quick reply is a good thing. Most forums that have it won't let you do little smilie's but that's no big deal..

I agree quick reply would help out some, because most people don't want to take the time to go off and load up another page to make a comment.

Quick reply works really well for http://www.automotiveforums.com I find it to be a handy tool to have, incase my internet runs slow. <_<

I don't know how hard it would be to install, but this is only an option, if it's a tough job, we really don't need it that much. It's just an option that would be nice to have. B)

Yea Im a member over at AF and thats where I got the idea. If its easy to install then it would help alot but if its too much trouble it wont be.

sounds good to me ive been looking into them for my site also from what ive read they dont seem to be too hard to install jay knows servers a computers well enough if it seems like a good idea to him and he has time im sure it woukd help with replies but we also have to think about the bandwith problem we already have

Yea bandwith seems to be an issue lately. If it wont take up much bandwith and wont be hard to install then I personally think its a great idea.

TRhanks Mr. Wilde. Chopsta, quick reply is an easy way for people to comment without goin thru the hassle to go to a diff page and submit stuff. YOu know as the rest of us do that ppl arent replying much lately and I think that quick reply could help ppl comment more.

Clicking a button isn't the point...

the fact that some people use 56k on here is a big deal, and if they can reply without having to load another page, it cuts down on time alot!

When I am not at school and at home, I rarely comment on anything because I have to wait for pages to load so I can reply... sure once isn't a long wait, but if I want to comm ent on 8 pages, it's gonna take alot of time I am not willing to wait for.

Quick reply=Good thing.
