I've sketching out an S2000 and I've got everything I need and I know a bit about what I want to use [this is my first chop and I'm putting ALOT of effort into it]. But I can't get my head around realistic looking viper stripes. If anyone can help me on this or write a tutorial then it would be much appreciated. Might take you out to dinner too. Cheers

I think the easiest way would be to just make a selection of the stripes and copy to a new layer. Then just change the colour to white as you would change the colour of a car regularly, just my opinion.

Study the stripes, the way it curves around the body of a car, take perspective into your study, notice how the stripes get smaller as it falls back. Keep in mind where the stripes are going, how they are lined up on the car all the way back. Hope this helps.http://images.google.com/images?q=viper+st...&oe=UTF-8&hl=en (http://images.google.com/images?q=viper+stripes&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en)
