Hey, Just wondering if anyone here was a regular vistor of Photoshop Junkie, because it has been down for the past week or so... I was wondering if anyone knew why.

yea that site goes down a lot. in the middle of june it was down for like 2 days but now its been about a week. People have been tellin me that they're upgradin to v3.0, but no one really knows for sure.

I am also assuming that they are upgrading or they have been hacked. If they were planning an upgrade I think they would have posted something letting everyone know. On the other hand I checked their registration and the domain name is good until 2005. So beats me as well? :(

well they said on there front page that the update was coming soon and on the forum the pj admin said were getting ready for it real soon so i assume there upgrading

Assuming that they are upgrading. When I upgrade a website it has all been pre planned and ready to update at the touch of a button. Downtime is only at a half an hour tops. If Bryce is a professional as I am sure he is the down time should be considerably small. Even changing servers the down time will not be as long as a week. They had been saying that the upgrade was going to be "coming soon" for almost a year.

They are updating, it'll be back up in 3-4 weeks ;)

That web design company is SOREYE. That is the company that Bryce works for.

back in june they were down for like three weeks.

and IMO i do NOT think they are upgrading. all the mods even said they'd give a fair warning, and from what i'm seein no one got a warning

The date I posted that message was Jul 31... at that time they had just come back from their first downtime. 15 days later they are down again.

Yeh, I'm sure it will be back up eventually, how long for though, there is no telling lol
