As all true Mustang fans should know. The 17th of April 2004 is the 40th anniversary of the mustang. All though the new Mustangs are not doing as well as expected Ford have decided to bring out a special, race model; the Mustang GT-R.
It has a big-block 5.0 litre v8 with 440 horse power and redline at 7000rpm. It can be tuned to 500+.
18 or 19 inch tyres are way too common in race cars now so the mustang will have big 20 inch wheels under the fenders.
The stainless steel side exhaust is one of the main features.

Price is said be very low at around $25,000 U.S.

where did you get this information?

25,000 USD? are you freakin stupid? thre is NO chance in hell it will be that cheap, multiply that by 2 or 3 to get the real price IF this is made a street-legal version.

yeah ricky is right, theres no way in hell that car is going to be less that 60 grand. if you look at the competition, maybe a stock viper or m3 or sl55 or corvette or camaro or possibly a porsche, it cant be possible to have a 440 hp stang that is a limited edition be even under 80 thousand.

stock mustangs are 22,000$ and a fully loaded svt is around 35000 i think....do the math, its impossible to have a gtr with side exhausts, tuned engine, 20 inch tires, cf wing and hood and interior, custom headlights/tailights/interior, and a fastback top 3000$ more than a stock one. ford would lose an incredible amount of money.

i garauntee you, if they ever produce that car, they will make no more than 600 a year and the price tag would be over 80000$, not including the costs of moving up in line, bribery, etc.

hey, its not fault whether this information may be slighty off, i get this information from lots of different places and there is no guarantee that they are 100% correct.
Even magazines such as Motor or Wheels cant be 100%.
