hey, here's my chop for contest 22. this thing took 137 layers, and about 15-20 hours worth of choppin. i'm happy with how it turned out, tell me what you think.
it's all brushed btw, except for the rims and brakes.

Looks very Veilside Supra Ltd.'ish. which is a very good thing. I think this one is the best one I've seen so far for contest 22. The flaws I see are 1) that kinda undulated black portion over the fastback/trunk area, and over the windshield (very slight) 2) the wiggly sealant around the rear window (wish it was more straight) 3) The rims could've been darker.

I like this entry...go'on wit'cho bad self! :D

Good job there mate,

From what i can see it all looks good, the rims need a bit more contrast and changing of the levels IMO. And the targa top needs some shadow were it is starting to cover the seats.

But good job, keep it up.

its really nice...but lines are jagged...plus the back of the car you've brushed looks wierd...it looks 2D...and and i agree with whatever brasher said about rims

lol, yeah, i was a newb not long ago. i think i'm finally gettin the hang of this whole brushing thing.

and terazzi: thanks man, but i never posted it in the wip section. didn't want to give away my ideas.

and sw: i think the lines are jagged from when i resized it. i'll try to fix it.

and redimpeller: i based the body kit off the abflug s900 supra, but i see what you're sayin with the veilside ltd. what do you mean by "undulated black portion over the fastback/trunk area"? i can't quite figure out what you're talking about.

Its a very thin hint of a black line over the fastback it almost looks like dots. Do you see what I mean?

redimpeller is talking about where the body meets the bg, there's a slight hint of a darker colored line in between the 2.

Also, take a look at the passenger side interior door panel, see how it sticks out into the interior a little? Now look at the drivers side, next to the rear side window...looks flat, give it a little shadow and a highlight and it'll look alot better. Maybe add some depth to around the window there too..

As I said before, everything looks good, glad to see you got everything sorted out..body looks great ;) ..

well, when i was first learning to make them, i used joe's tut. after i got some experience with them, that's how they turned out. practice makes perfect.
