dang man that looks real tight! I really like the front bumper. You using 3ds?

PatelDesigns 02-24-2005 07:59 PM

wow! very nice!. My dad used to have a 300zx, it was jet black w/ blk interior and blk 5 spoke wheels to bad the engine blew and more problem came up. What program u use, and do u have tuts?

hawk_196 02-24-2005 09:54 PM

yeah he has a few pretty fab tuts on his page. check the pinned thread in this forum.

looks great! material work is top notch. very close to the actual looks of the car also.

and you have an interesting way of kaming wheels I might add.

I notice you have both sides of the car rendered. is this how you work? or did you mirror it just to show off? usually I see people make just one half of a car and then mirror it because cars are symmetrical after all.

corrosion3d 02-25-2005 09:04 AM

Yea, im using 3Dsmax

those arent the final wheels http://www.corrosion-3d.co.uk - some tutorials on my site, needs an update really

misterphotoshop 02-25-2005 04:39 PM

do you happen to have a really easy tut on how to set up blueprints?

nasTone 02-25-2005 05:57 PM

Take a look here. Maybe it will help you.

looks amazing! bit off topic i know but ididnt want to create a seperate thread and figured you guys would be the one to ask i will soon be getting cinema 4d how does it compare to 3ds max and can i do car renderings in it???

GranTurismo 02-26-2005 11:49 AM

hmmm overall it's good but could use alot more work but it's good

Sha$XL 02-26-2005 04:45 PM

did you use a HDRI for that yellow render? its looks great

corrosion3d 02-26-2005 07:48 PM

For the yellow render i did - and i have just finished a new wheel / tyre - will post up pics asap

Prototype 02-26-2005 10:17 PM

Thats looking very nice so far. I really like the reflections on the yellow one. The bumper looks so shiny and reflective. gotta love that.

corrosion3d 02-27-2005 06:57 PM

Here is a render of the wheel - just a quick render, so it looks like it is floating D=!

Also, the reason the bumper isn't matching the wing is because i am trying to make it as realistic as possible, and out of about 100 bodykits, you hardly ever see a body kit fitted exactly right without 1 mm + out of place

And one of the wheel on its own (check out those high detail tyres :D)

Sha$XL 02-27-2005 09:13 PM

Prototype 02-28-2005 09:19 AM
