wtf.

I'm trying to get a site together... and this weird thing is screwing up my tables. I made the pictures of the buttons for the links into, well links, but when I did, it put an obnoxious blue box around the image screwing up my table.

Heres the code.

Code:

<a href="http://free.hostultra.com/~hawk_196/chops.html"><IMG SRC="http://free.hostultra.com/~hawk_196/Layout---Grey2B_Chops.jpg" WIDTH=245 HEIGHT=56 ALT=""></a>
to look at it go to my site, http://www.hawkdesigns.tk

Code:

<a href="http://free.hostultra.com/~hawk_196/chops.html"><IMG SRC="http://free.hostultra.com/~hawk_196/Layout---Grey2B_Chops.jpg" WIDTH=245 HEIGHT=56 ALT="" BORDER="0"></a>
C&P that and see if it works ;)

hm I wouldn&#39;t get to proud... I&#39;m changing the layout because the one I have doesn&#39;t have a table that shares any dividers at all. Everything is on a different spot adn none of the joint line up if that makes sense. I made a new one, and I&#39;ll be uploading it tonight.

thanks for the help none-the-less as I&#39;ll probably need it for this new site too.

Oh, I&#39;ve also been getting complaints about having a fixed width table.... wtf? I&#39;m probably gonna need to look that up for myself though.

got all the files uploaded and im setting up the index page...

lmk how the site looks.

try adding
Code:

align=&#34;center&#34;
to the table tag, and if that doesn&#39;t work, try the
Code:

&#60;center&#62;text&#60;/center&#62;
tags

hawk_196 02-04-2005 05:38 PM

yeah i think i figured it out... had like 3 different tags... put them in different spots to figure it out but thanks a bunch for your help

isn&#39;t that just for a repeating bg tho...with the one he has now, it&#39;ll look all funky

hawk_196 02-04-2005 10:50 PM

I&#39;m trying to get the stripe on the left and right side of the cell that holds text to repeat infinitly to the end of the page...

i went ahead and got dreamweaver although that is almost no help either because I cant do crap in it.
