wtf.

I'm trying to get a site together... and this weird thing is screwing up my tables. I made the pictures of the buttons for the links into, well links, but when I did, it put an obnoxious blue box around the image screwing up my table.

hm I wouldn't get to proud... I'm changing the layout because the one I have doesn't have a table that shares any dividers at all. Everything is on a different spot adn none of the joint line up if that makes sense. I made a new one, and I'll be uploading it tonight.

thanks for the help none-the-less as I'll probably need it for this new site too.

Oh, I've also been getting complaints about having a fixed width table.... wtf? I'm probably gonna need to look that up for myself though.

got all the files uploaded and im setting up the index page...

try adding

to the table tag, and if that doesn't work, try the

<center>text</center>

yeah i think i figured it out... had like 3 different tags... put them in different spots to figure it out but thanks a bunch for your help

hmm is there any way to have a background image repeating infinitely to the bottom of the page?

isn't that just for a repeating bg tho...with the one he has now, it'll look all funky

I'm trying to get the stripe on the left and right side of the cell that holds text to repeat infinitly to the end of the page...

i went ahead and got dreamweaver although that is almost no help either because I cant do crap in it.

the lines do go all the way down in Firefox.. same with in IE.. did you fix your problem or am I just not seeing what your trying to fix?

well what resolution are you looking at it with?
