Been workin on this for the last day or three when I'm bored.

Here's a disection of the progress thus far

Basic shape to serve as a background for the rest of the work:

Depends on what needs doing, but yes, typically.

It was wrecked last year in a multi-car collision. A blind-crest, a 55mph zone, and a funeral procession going the opposite way added up to the totalling of my Dart. I loved the car, the entire 8mos I owned it.

Okay thanks, I figured I might be trying to do these the wrong way.. er, at least probably the hard way. I've kinda figured out how to do similar progression in the painting part, but I've just been using various related colors to build up the highlights and shadows over a base color outline mask versus starting in the greytones first.

I'd like to see more steps of the process as you complete this one.
