The transperant background is easy, you simply take a picture of whats directly behind the moniter (keep in mind what width lens your camera has, as it easily gets wrong) and then use it as you wallpaper.. :)

Actually i dont really remember how i made mine, since i almost made it my mistake! :P

Uhmm.. well here's another one.. :p not sure it is as perfect as the first one.. but im open to improvements, please Comment it! ;)
