Santa's Impala

Decided to turn the Impala into Santa's new ride. There is a WIP thread started with the originals. Here is the finished one I uploaded onto the Lug Nuts facebook page as well. Thinking I might have to do some posters of it as well.

Background and color looks fantastic, but isnt the wheels supposed to be spinning? :)

kennykro 12-23-2014 04:51 PM

They are, it's just hard to see at this resolution. When wheels are spinning fast enough it's like they are a bit blurry, but it's almost like they are still, or the illusion of them spinning backwards. I did a blur on them (I forget which one), but it's subtle on purpose.

radial blur, i think is what you mean.

Oh, I can see it now, was on my bad monitor. But it truely looks great!

Don't think I used the radial blur. It wasn't looking like I wanted.

At that angle, radial blur won't work right. There's rarely an instance where it works well, tbh. I usually do it by hand if it's at anything but a head on angle.
