Photo enhancing for mazgazines

One of my good friends' car was approached to be in 2 types of magazines, one local and one more national (georgian auto show and some type of euro tuner). He asked me to "touch up" his photos and play around with them, as they will be produced in those 2 magazines within the next month or so. Over 70 photos were taken, 10 were selected and only 4 were edited and have been picked out. No point in showing the originals, just check them out and let me know what you think :).

It's a mkIV VW jetta 1.8t with well over $20,000 in performance and visual upgrades. Completely re-built engine and many cosmetic mods done as well. These aren't all the photos but I'm only posting a few ;).

And no he's not glued to his car, they asked for him to be in the photos.

Nice touch ups man. They car must be sick with all that $ put into it. Imo, i not too keen on the yellow sky in the first pic but the rest look very good. Did you take any pics of the car without the person? If so you should show some of those. Also just for fun, you should make one of those pics and HDR image and see what it looks like.

Thanks, yeah the yellow was just an idea. I needed the white to match the rest of the semi-desaturated photo so I put it in. I took about 4 pics and did 3 different effects to them each so 12 of them are done. Mostly rock chip editing, removing scratches, fixing grass spots and taking out the license plate in a clean way.

I only just noticed this is old, might as well go for it anyay.

The second pic is over exposed, quite hard to fix unless you took a few shots with different exposures to create an hdr image.

I had a go anyway,

lowered the exposure
lowered the contrast
upped the brightness
