Photography - Playing with fire
 

Some shots I've been experimenting with using Fire.

It gives some interesting effects in my opinion.

Comments appreciated.

what are you using to create the fire? [curious]

wow thats some weird stuff... did you just increase the time of exposure or what?

I use a ciggarette lighter and a Deodurant can to create the flame.

And set the shutter speed to around the 30second range.

Looks awsome! Be careful with the aerosal can! I know someone that nearly blow there hand off doing that!

Wow that looks awesome...Friend of mine used Axe Deodorant and it isn't bad at all..

They are all really awesome though.

I love it. Very nice photography. Being a photo enthusiast myself I think ill play with some fire as well. What type of camera do you use?

I use a Pentax *istDS Digital SLR camera with a good quality 50mm prime lens usually.

I think I used my 18-55mm zoom lens for these shots though.

My mate showed me a realy good way to do it once...

get an A4 peice of paper and spray the top and roll it into a tube around 1-2 inches wide and light the end and spray the deoderant through it... it works best with certain deoderants we used to test for a good one if you spray a concentrated spot on a table it should build up and look like a white paste...
