Your point of view,

well, Im a bryce user myself, If youre thinking about modelling actual objects then bryce isnt for you, instead bryce's real strengths are in its ability to create realistic and easy environments and landscapes, But I mainly use it for abstract renders for some of my art, I recommend getting a copy of Inventor or 3ds Max if you want to get serious about 3d modelling.

hope that helps

I personally prefer 3dsmax for modeling although I use Cinema 4D once in a while but thats only for abstract 3d work. You could also try Lightwave 3D but Ive never used it.

yea, i saw what you did with bryce and got it for myself, is there a way i can learn how to use it? like a website or something? cause there are no drop down menus or anything no File Edit View... nothing like that

lol, this caught me out too at first, what you have to do is put your cursor in the area where the file menu is usally displayed, it will magically appear by havinging your mouse there.

as for tutorials,

try deviant art, www.deviantart.com

go to browsw > resources > tutorials and there are some good bryce tuts there
