Have you ever thought about how you could turn this facination with the macabre into a career? With the penciling talent you possess you might consider comic books, movie story boards or if you can covert this into finished art there are a plethora of bands in the music industry that might use your talents for CD jacket art.
The idea here is to get you focused on making money with your talent, instead of acting it out! :D

Dude, now that you mention this, I saw a special on cable here not too long ago about this dude who does Tats in CA for alot of Actors and this fool was rollin man!
I'd go for it if I was you.
Jus think for a moment. Would you enjoy working in a sterile, boring hospital environment with all these rules and protocol and sick people and having to wear those geeky uniforms and listen to elevator music all day long and what about liabilites?
OR, would you prefer working for yourself in a laid back, secluded little shop of horrors where you could do what you enjoy, wear your greasy, holey jeans and concert T's, listen to Korn and get to draw on naked chicks all day long!
