the car looks WAAAY to dark for the background. the intercooler is off angle.the bg change is pretty good and the flag on the car in the second pic looks pretty good.

trevor 325i 11-18-2005 10:11 PM

its kinda strange but the intercooler in the big pic before i resized looked fine but when it resized it made it look crooked not sure exactly why

v8_king 11-18-2005 10:17 PM

it looks to me like you havent cropped it properly to fit the grill, if you still have the psd file then zoom in and see if you have selected the intercooler correctly to suit the grill

trevor 325i 11-18-2005 10:24 PM

thats what i was saying earlier in the larger format its on the same plane as the grill but when it ws resized it changed the pixels a little which makes it look angled wrong not sure exactly how to fix it now that all the layers are merged

any ideas?

dont know if we are supposed to post images this large here but here it is

to me in this one it looks like its straight but in the smaller ones its crooked (excuse the cf had not quite got the hand at it yet)

if you look at the right side of the intercooler. it looks to me like it is higher than it is on the left end. the only way to fix it, if the layers are merged, would be to brush down over the part of the intercooler that doesnt look right.

and you can post pics as big as you want, the larger the pics the more detail can be seen.

trevor 325i, great start! keep it up

the work is good, but the CF is a bit light though; the FMIC needs to be rotated clockwise by like 2 degrees; then it'd be perfect, even if it IS chrome. lol; i'd like to see what the original looks like too :) good start though :D

trevor 325i 11-19-2005 04:36 PM

how do you all think the first cf hood looks?

AverageJoe 11-19-2005 05:39 PM

I agree with everyone else. Its a great start. Keep messing around with the CF and tweekin the FMIC. Post post the orginal to show us how it started and to see how much youve done to it.

keep it up
