Lookin good! I reckon ya should slam the roof next cause i have never seen a pug with it done and i reckon it would look awesome.

Looks nice Raven but you need to clean up your cut from the lowering where the skirt meets the ground shadow and behind the front tire..

RebelRaven 03-27-2009 10:30 AM

Yeah, I've noticed that. Will get round to it when I'm doing finishing touches.

i agree , plus since you lowered it , it makes the roof look realy high

imo you should rid of the front plastics and JDM style it , buy pumpin the guards out and puting nice wide rims with hugely stretched tyres , if you understand what i mean.....if you dont , google "oldschool JDM" then you might understand
and get rid of those yukky door handles lol

BT.

Tools used:
Crop tool
Rectangular Marquee

[hr]

All right, let's start!

Fire up Photoshop and pick an image, I'll go with the new and (IMO) ugly Kia Soul.

http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/5...8941dv7.th.jpg

All right, now select the rectangular marquee, and select the top of the car like so...

http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/7...3028qd7.th.jpg

Now, hit Ctrl-C to copy the selection (hit Shift-Ctrl-C if you're in the middle of the chop and not on the background layer) and hit Ctrl-V to paste it. You should have a new Layer.

http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/662/67448689rx4.jpg

Now that you've done that, hit Ctrl-T to transform the layer, and drag the top down until you're satisfied with the low-ness. Hit Enter when satisfied with how it looks.

Now, if you see, it doesn't look too right. The top of the image is shown twice, we don't want that. To fix this, take out the Crop tool, and select the car like so (this also draws more attention to the car), and hit enter when satisfied.

Here is what the car looked like before:

And here is the end result:

If you followed through the whole tutorial, good job! :D
edit: I tried this for myself... I just forgot to clean up the bg
