I haven't done something like this before, so I decided to start off with a celica, cause it looked cool. The real size is HUGE, so this is 50%
Enjoy. B) I can't do headlights, so pretend there's a cover on there. Also doesn't need windshield whipers.

i'm not that good with wheels, so I just BS'd some up, lol. The brake rotors suck, oh well.

How do you make these vectorized cartoons??? :( I only get some sh*t when I make cartoons.

OmicroN 03-06-2004 02:32 AM

Hard to explain, i'll give you a link to a tutorial.

well, I just use the method I mentioned here. I keep the nodes to a minimum and have straight curved lines. I learned mostly about vectoring in college, cause they want to you really learn that stuff.

A vectorizing is a graphic not really made of rasterized layers, but coded images. I can make the car any size and have it look the same. It's a mathematical setting of colors and lines, it's really cool.

I think i downloaded some vector .PSD files once... when i opened it i was asked to put in a size of how big i wanted it... the quality wasnt effected is this what your talking about OmicroN?

Pretty much yeah...
Vector will be any size, without any effect of quality, like I said, it's mathematical.

Thats crazy, nerd :P

hav_lova 03-16-2004 05:04 AM

well seing how your as admin there seems to be no better person to elaborate? the mathematical part if its not too much trouble even basic give us a run over im itching to know more about it :D
