3d programs plz help!
 
alright this isnt a post about how i want to find out where to get the progs so read on..im getting cinema 4d pretty soon from a freind (im getting it 4 free but im not going to go in to that cuz i know im not allowed) and i was wondering what the differences were between cinema 4d and 3ds max??also in cinema 4d am i going to be able to make car renders like are in this forum?? if someone could clear this up it would be great!

I honestly don't know anything about either program. I have tried 3d studio, and I am not that good with it. C4D, I have never tried. Take a look at this link. It will give you an idea of what this software can do. There are a lot of tutorials there.

ive used both but I cant really do much in either. I know that you can make much better and efficient 3d abstract in Cinemda 4d but Im not to sure about the whole car thing. Im almost positive you can make cars I just dont know how it stacks up against 3ds.

It wouldnt be my tool of choice, just because Im already using other products and dont like relearning, however ive seen some superb work done with Cinema 4D. As good as youll see anywhere.

i use 3D Studio max for my modeling the program is quite easy once you study the program carefully.i might beable to reffer a few FREE 3D modeling programs for you if you don't wanna pay money for a 3D program :)
