How do u do quick mask?
|
To quick mask: Press "Q" Use the paintbrush to paint anything you want to have selected. It will be this weird orangeish-reddish color. Just use the brush and eraser to get painted everything that you want to select. After you've done that, press "Q" again to exit quick mask, then go to layer>select inverse and voila...a nice clean selection of whatever you painted with that reddish color. Make sure to select the inverse though.

make the two layers you want to merge visible and everything else off. then go to layer->merge visible
