Thats about the nicest criticism of some overtly smudgy sketches we will probably ever see, and so I appreciate your tact here.
Actually these are more like doodles than skecthes for me.
This kind of stuff is practice for me and usually I end up tossing it, so I dont take the care that I should.
What you described is indeed good advice and should be followed especially if one has intention of keeping it say for a portfolio.
Guess I should have named the post "A bit sloppy" instead.
