Not necessarily.
Realism isn't everything.
And it takes a certain sort of eye to capture
a different look out of a picture while making
it look presentable, rather than full on realism.
Realism is actually almost too easy.
It's just time consuming.
This isn't a "toon" it is technically a rebrushed picture,
but that aside, the work is to a high standard thus far.
