Haha I know, I know! Long story short... My friend and I decided to buy coilovers from the same manufacturer to get a discount, so we did... but his got fu*ked up and they didn't have them in stock so we've been waiting...
I just talked to him now and we set this Sunday for the date to do it... I'm pretty pumped, lot's of pics to follow.

The guy told me he had to fix a tranny off of another car so he only got my friends done ...
I know it's been a long wait but because it's "under the table" it's not as easy... lol way to take the cheaper way out

coils for u car should be easy though you need a spring compressor thats it. take off the wheel loosen the knuckle compress the spring take off the top nut in the trunk or under the hood and pull it out, reverse steps to put it in

The TEIN/King Springs setup in SIC EM (2004 Impreza WRX) wasn't a DIY job, it was actually quite complex. And the MazdaSpeed 6 has an even more complex AWD system than Scoobs. Not necessarily better, just more complex.
Essentially, if you don't know what you're doing, get it professionally installed.

yeah I remember the coils were a pain in the *** when we had no clue what was going on lol
I've never done coil overs on a strut style suspension, just a-arms and 3/4 links
