Yeah I was also thinking that. Did you get a disk with your speakers? The drivers will be on there. Insert the disk and install the drivers. If that doesn't work, well your screwed I suppose

I can tell you that its possible nothing will work with Vista.
I recently bought a new PC with it and none of my peripherals are compatible, including a Lexmark all-in-one that I just purchased 6 months ago.
The supposed downloadable Vista drivers dont work.
IMO Vista is a total flop.
Im yanking it and going with XP.

Vista is a great operating system but you have to have hardware that supports it. If the audio card is your only problem then you should determine exactly what audio card you have and check the vendors site for a Vista compatible driver and/or instructions.

If the audio card is not compatible then you will need to obtain a Vista compatible audio card.

I'd love to know what your analysis of the Vista operating system is and how you determined it is the "worst operating system anyone can get"??

^ ha, better yet lets hear your assesment as to what the big advantage it has over XP.
I dont see that its better so much as it is different.
To me its another marketing ploy.
They just get the bugs worked out of XP and BAM! here we go again.

ill tell you my honest oppinion. i have used xp and vista (for a short while. i hate it when things fuk up that why it was a short time.) i have also had a mac for the last 3 months or so and i love it. yeh ok so xp n vista are for the budget pc's but ive even tryed vista on a mac at a friend house who was running bootcamp and vista even manages to crash a mac. lol

to be honest yeh great if you have a microsoft pc then stick with it if you like it and dont upgrade because vista should be called a "im gonna screw you life and you pc up bigtime grade."

my opinion get a mac, easyer to use and as we all know microsoft copyed osx tiger with its main features when doveloping vista

a good watch:

"If you cant innovate, you have to immitate but its never the same"

so all in all get a mac.
