"Drift Dreams" Team Chop
Happy Fourth of July, PSC!
I’d like to introduce a new chop that I have been working on in conjunction with Directport. His S13 chop was an inspiration and I had started working on this on my own at first. Flat black paint, brushed bumper as well as many other parts were added to my car, and my aim was a budget drifter look.
Directport and I made two drift battle scenes, one with him leading and one with me leading. I wasn’t going for realism with my battle, I went for intensity, making the background B&W and increasing the contrast. There are other versions I had made as well.
Credit goes to directport for inspiration and help along the way. Cheers!
Original:
Swangin’s battle:
Normal:
B&W background:
Intense (my personal favorite)
Directport’s battle:
Directport went for a more photograph feel, adding a sepia tone and some blur to enhance the image.
Enjoy, leave lots of feedback, this took quite awhile to get done and though I can’t speak for both of us, but IMO we did an excellent job.
Thanks for all your time
Ceff & Directport.

Thanks, yes it does, but the reflections/lighting are pretty strong so it's hard to see the driver.

OK, in your pics Direct Port is definately not in the car bro, at least not in the drivers seat. However I notice that in DP's pic his car is a left hand drive, yet in yours its a righty.
The steering wheel is clearly visable in both your pics (right side) but no driver.
Other than that I think both of you did a great job on these.
Very cool colaboration.

Thanks for the feedback Davinci. Yeah, we used different techniques for the bg change
I did c/p a driver into DP's car, though the reflections on the windsheild are pretty strong, looking closely, I can see the glove and part of a helmet, but now i can see that the driver's presence wasn't as obvious as it should have been.
Thanks again, keep the comments coming

honestly, i think both versions look wonderful. other than the slight issue with the drivers, awesome work. ceff, good to see that you havent lost your style, and directport, this is a great chop from you as well. i think we need more team work chops around here. ive seen a few in the past, and have tried a couple myself, but in a situation like this, a touge battle, putting two cars together works very well. i congratulate both of you for ingenuity, and it looks like im going to have to step up my game when i come back to chopping (should be very soon). keep up the great work!

Great idea in combining the chops into one, both are well executioned. If I need to say which one is better than Directport gets 1+ point because in his pic the other car is driven from the right side (right being left, not the Japanese or UK right) if you know what I mean.
