Each object was created individually, this render took over 7 months for me to complete

it took around seven months, couple of hours a day.........

heres the specs:

Processor: P4 3.2Ghz
RAM: 1GB DDR
Graphics Card: Radeon X800 Pro 256MB - i saved a long time for this
and of course with all this stuff that gets hot, a liquid cooling system.

if you want more, ask.

Sweet man, It'd be nice to do something like that. I get a monthly magazine deticated to that stuff, and a yearly calender. I'd really like to get 3d studio max or maya (legally). My local college deals with that, i've already took 1 year of photoshop.

I think I may go back and try out the 3d graphics. Very nice job.

One more thing, with the liquid cooling system, 2 questions...

1: Is it easy to install?
2: What brand/type?

Thanks. B)

Hmmm i already posted a reply once but the forum crashed...

Eventhough i built the thing myself, i let a local PC shop fit it, after all i dont want to end up ruining all of my lovely hardware and its a Coolermaster series.

Um you obviously havent used AutoCAD as you dont know it has barely any 3D utilities. It really isnt needed as AutoCAD is used for 2D sketches/orthos/isos/elevations/etc.

Read more closely bud, it said it was created with AutoCAd (most likely for design of objects) and Viz/Max (i.e. Viz or 3D Studio Max). The render is without a doubt out of 3ds/Viz.

so get you facts straight, thats all.

oh btw,

Sorry, just have to pass that on.

Also, sorry white wolf.

again, great render dude. I actually was just messing around yesterday and made a wine glass reflecting a cool bg I'm gonna try and use one time, and it took a good 30 seconds to render. I can only imgagine how long mine would take to render that. Some of the computers at my brother's arcitecture firm are sporting like freaking 2 gigs of RDRAM, and some crazy kinda of freyon cooling for the dual p4's. The freyon stuff I'm talking about is like watercooling on steriods. Instead of water running through tubes, you have pretty much ice forming on your processor. Crazy stuff... crazy stuff...
