HURRICANE pencil drawing

Here is something I was fooling around with this morning. It turned out great, but I could not figure out how to scan it and keep good quality. Almost all of my shading and detail is gone, how does everyone make such good scans of artwork and keep all of your detail? Well, anyway, you get the jist of it:

i think this car doesnt know what it is...
the rear is like a truck...
the front is low like a sportscar...
the roof looks like off a new beetle...
and the front fender looks very old school like 60s...

Lol, that's the whole point, and the front fender sorta says '30s!
