Default Photography - Playing with fire

Some shots I've been experimenting with using Fire.

It gives some interesting effects in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments.

I use a ciggarette lighter and a Deodurant can to create the flame.

And set the shutter speed to around the 30second range.

I love it. Very nice photography. Being a photo enthusiast myself I think ill play with some fire as well. What type of camera do you use?

Thanks guys.

I use a Pentax *istDS Digital SLR camera with a good quality 50mm prime lens usually.

I think I used my 18-55mm zoom lens for these shots though.

My mate showed me a realy good way to do it once...

get an A4 peice of paper and spray the top and roll it into a tube around 1-2 inches wide and light the end and spray the deoderant through it... it works best with certain deoderants we used to test for a good one if you spray a concentrated spot on a table it should build up and look like a white paste...
