i always like to know what other pictuners do in their normal lives so what kind of job u do, or do u still study
i for myself study, i'm gonna start next week in my last year of master in the pharmaceutical care, i already have a bachelor in pharmaceutical sciences
Year and a half or so now, been welder/fabricator/general metalworker/painter/labourer etc for a blacksmiths company.
I play on the forge every now and again, used it the other week on a gate I was making.
Made a couple of sets of gates now. Railings. Roof... thingies, I dunno but they're all around the edge of a roof in York.
We do restoration as well, I've worked on 150 year old gates and anything of any age inbetween, either metalwork repair, or strip back and repaint. Also done parts on larger projects that the company as a whole have been working on (theres about 6 of us as a whole)
I've been all over most of Yorkshire (we do site work also, all the fitting and such) as well as a big job in Birmingham (5am start, 7pm finish XD), went there 3 times. Been to Lindisfarne twice (up north past Newcastle, another 5am start), twice there.
All sorts of stuff.
Basically I get paid to stick bits of metal together with flashy lights, and hit things with hammers.

Starting my second year in Graphic Design at Conestoga College. I have spent the summer working in IT Services at the College, specializing the Apple computers. Previous summers have been painting trailers, and being the go-fer kid around the shop.
Going into my third year at University of Guelph, I'm studying business administration. My area of emphasis is marketing and I will most likely specialize in that. I find that my photoshopping really helps with visuals and media design with advertising too... so bonus for me .
Right now I'm working at 1Presidents Choice Circle, which is Loblaws main head office.
