that really sux :P
no man
thats not bad
u can fix it by using the smudge tool
first select the area under the light then take the smudge tool and set the strength of the tool to 20 - 30
then stroke it to the light and u will get a good end
hope this helps

EMAIL EM TO ME !!! lcsb18722@yahoo.com. I love you car. THe kit will match up better to the light if you just select the area then smudge it in or hand pick the color and match it and paint it yourself. Make sure after you fill it in you deselect and set smudge toa bout 8 and go over the area to make it blend into the bumper more like its supposed to be like that.

Another little tip, if you plan on changing the color of the car(something other than red) then don't worry about color matching the bumper. Just select the whole car(parts that need painting) and desaturate it, then use a new layer to color in the car(overlayed and opacity lowered).
Looks like a good start, listen to the others on how to fix it. You should have your bumper layer selected when you smudge it up to the light(just in case that was your problem).
Also, you can use the clone tool from one layer to another. Just hold ALT click your clone point on the layer you want to clone, then highlight the layer you want to clone on to and go to town...

Looks better around the headlight, still could use a little touch up. Also make your selections better, some of the lines around the car are too straight and choppy(wheel wells, intercooler pipes, around the windows). In order to make the bumper look more matched up, try using brightness/contrast on the bumper layer. And the rear bumper is separated from the wheel well, touch that up..

ok i cleaned it up a little. i know the lines are choppy i was in a hurry, i can do better. anyhow, here's another go at it. fixed the rear bumper issue and got the front to match pretty well i think.

ok i see what you mean about the rims, is there any really good way to fix that? maybe some kind of distort or something? also, again i know the body sux, i'll try to fix it.
also, i've heard people talking about "combining 2 layers into 1". how do i do that? i know its a n00b question but i just cant figure it out.
thanks for all the help though. i really appreciate it.

to merge layers, make the layers you want to combine visible, and hide everything else. then go to layers-->merge visible
