Well, I bought the car for $750. I have a lot of plans for this thing too. I am planning on replacing the hood, front bumper, rear bumper, side skirt for a side exhaust, and a lot of the interior. I am going to replace the seat clothes in the front and back, and the floor. For paint I am considering a flat black paint with all the decals in clearcoat, so you only see 'em when they shine.
I am going to shoot for 500hp. I am certainly going to look into a saleen or roush suspension upgrade. For tires, I am still thinking of what I want to do. I have thought of black or gunmetal rims, but I don't want it to be cheesy. I am looking for a stealth look, and I don't want it to be all blingbling. I think chrome might be out of the question.
If you guys saw it a few months ago, it had a missing headlight, I fixed that right away, and I fixed a lot of the engine. Still have work to do, it's my little project. http://www.photohost.org/gallery/data/2/33IMG_0051.JPG

I'd paint the car a metallic black, no decals (unless for sponserships), and go with color-matched black wheels, 5-Spoke design. And none of that polished lip crap.
Is it a V6?

I have thought about the black rims and everything, i'm taking it into consideration. With the paint, I don't want it to be reflective of anything really, a low gloss really really dark black would be awesome.
About the engine, no, it's a Cobra Racing 5 litre v-8 with a 5 speed manual tranny. Has posi rear with stock 3.04 gears. There's really nothing special about it other than the fact that it's mine now, lol.

Very nice purchase. From what I see it doesn't look too bad of shape. I would definately go with some black rims with a ring of chrome around it. Black would look great on the ride. Seats will have to be leather. What engine is in it right now? What year of Stang is it? 94?
Well, so far i've gotten black rims from everyone, lol. I still don't know about that though. Too much black may not be the best, I mean I want people not to hit me at night, lol.
It's a 1994 Mustang GT by the way.
To wilde, I said it a few posts up. :P
The engine in the car is a 5.0 LITRE H.O. COBRA RACING V-8 with a 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION.
I got the car from a friend, the car is pretty solid, needs a lot of tweaks. Here's a list of what's bad.
Bad Stuff:
Leaks oil
Leaks Coolant
Front hood damage
Front bumper damage
Rear bumper damage
Trunk seals falling off
Brakes are going
Needs tune up
Needs new exhaust
The Belt & Pulley's were bad, already replaced.
Has primer on it, bare primer rusts, so it has some rust in the fenderwells.
Rear Right rim has a dent in it, like it has hit a curb, high speeds the car shakes.
Front struts are bad
Rear struts are bad
Front and Rear Seats are stained and black
The floor has candy and junk all over it. (car owner has 3 kids)
The throwout bearing in the tranny is squeeling
That's about it, the clutch is hard to press down, but it's a performance clutch and fairly new, so you get that with the harder clutches.
The car is fun to drive, and really fun to drift.
I am also getting 8 extra tires with the car, so I won't have to worry about buying new tires, unless I decide to get the new rims, then i'm stuck with a **** ton of extra tires.
All in all, good purchase I think, needs some TLC, but I will make it 1 bad mofo. I am considering taking it down to the frame and giving it a complete overhaul. (that takes money money money, and a garage to do it in, and time)

My old honda had problems with the clutch being stiff. Checked the cable and it was fixed right then.
I like the idea of painting it a matte/flat black with clear coat/gloss stickers, kinda original IMO.
Are you planning on going N/A? Or forced induction? I'd say put a 5.4 out of a Lightning in it. Take the Eaton off and slap a Kenne Bell on! ^^ (its what Im trying to talk my boyfriend into doing with his 2002)
I'm still considering the paint color, it'll all be figured out some time, I just have to look over cars with these colors already, then I can make my decision.
For a nice addition, here's pictures of my friend from work's cars.
looks sick man. i would def go with the metallic black. as far as rims go, gunmetal with a polished lip would look freakin sick. i have 17 inch ones on my black civic...looks really clean without looking too flashy. nice ride but i cant wait to see it when you're done!
Im not a big fan of black paint on a Stang, but in this case im thinking YES. If your going to paint it black please go with the gun metal rims with a nice chrome ring. After some time please leather the seats. Congrats Omi .... I love the ride and I don't even like Stangs. Nice ****!
personally i say go with a metallic deep red, but since you want black i say metallic, but NO DECALS! i say go with rims like the color on the F6 Typhoon, not black cos i hate solid colored rims, and too much black makes the car seem plain and you cant see as much of its beauty!
