oh man, so like half the parts lol. are you wanting your exhaust to be loud? because a exhaust cut out would sound pretty good on a VRT. you can keep it closed when you want to quiet and open it for a roar!

you know, err...whats your name? i hate having to call people by their user names. anyways, it seems like almost every suggestion youve made is something ive already thought of. C2 software, water meth, vwvortex, C2 MAF housing, exhaust cutout. its like youre in my head...craziness. yes, i have thought about doing a cutout, but im still undecided about it.

haha my name is roger. i thought about doing one because i have an APR exhaust which is pretty quiet, and having a cutout would give me the option of really loud or quiet, and they are only like $100

ive got a friend with a big turbo 1.8T, and with the cutout, you dont notice as big of a difference as you might think. you definitely hear more of the turbo, though.

oh my. thats quite a beast! im deploying later this year, and after that, i may be building the engine and going for more boost. but i guess the first step of that is actually getting the turbo setup done.

yeah i saw that and just was in shock and i had to show you...spinning through 5th gear is crazy!!!
oh i completely forgot are you doing anything now to lower your compression for your turbo kit? like adding a head spacer or low compression pistons? or is that going to wait til you get deployed?

small update. ive been busy gathering parts for the upcoming turbo install. got most everything, and should be tearing into her in a few weeks. im going out of town for a couple weeks, so that will delay things a bit. today i quickly mocked up the turbo and wastegate to the manifold.
