Rat Rods are very popular, at least here in the states.
I have posted a few of my own here a while back.
Rat Rod Drive-in
Desert Rat
So theres a few more examples to scope out (and a good way for me to shamelessly plug some old submissions without appearing to hijack the thread. )
Anyhow 007, Rat Rods are typicaly made from early model cars but if I understand correctly, your mandate here is to go un-conventional and basically thumb our noses at conformity and at all the hard-core rodders and cultists by Ratting-out a late model ?
Hmmm?
I like it.
Count me in.
Im off to find a suitable base.

Most rat rods appear "unfinished" (whether they actually are or are not), with just the bare essentials to be driven.

They arent alway build for speed in the early years of hot rodding the people who couldnt offord hot rods at the time, would build there car using spare parts to make it their own hot rod to show hot rodders what can be done. The main thing with rat rods is the look
