Need Help with Dreamweaver

I just noticed i have a program called dreamweaver in the last bundle from adobe i got for school which i know is used to make websites. I would to create some website using this with After Effects and flash could more than likely make some amazing websites problem is i dont know how to use it any help on how to get started and ill figure out the rest with coding and such. thnx for any help

I have used dreamweaver very little, but I think it has a lot of potential. I haven't spent piles of time on it, but it seems to be one of those programs that someone might have to teach you how to use.

Its great for previewing your code as you go, but it writes some messy code with the automatic features. Learn HTML and its a great tool

w3schools will step you through all of that!

KustomCarBuilder is correct. It is good to preview your work, but it does generate messy code.

I get an upset stomach looking at websites that people have "designed" in Photoshop and just chopped up into blocks. Especially when they are TRYING to promote their web design services.

My theory is that you should have a solid understanding of what you are doing before trying to create shortcuts to do things faster. Learn how to code by hand. Learn what syntax does what and why it does what it does.
