Hey guys.

Just wondering if anyone could help me make this glare look right on my LED's. This wasn't a real educated guess as you can see, but my other option was to follow the top and right edges and have the fade goign down. Not sure if that would look right so I din't try it.

Just wondering if anyone could give me some pointers, thanks.

IMO the glare on the light cover should match the reflections on the picture...I'm guessing your not wanting to show the whole picture so I personally can't help ...

Oh and the led's look good but I think it'd be much more realistic if they were at a curved arc kinda thing instead of straight across...

Yeah I was also thinking of the curvy kinda thing for the led's but I figured I'd practice regular led's first.
btw here's the picture... not sure if there are any reflections but the light is coming from the right side... so umm..

Yeah that pic doesn't have many reflections, kinda looks like a sunrise or a sunset type picture. You can see a few streaks of reflections coming from the right to the left...maybe try to replicate that onto the new headlight cover.

Also, on almost all headlights/windows/any see thru object, I always add a layer to it and use a white brush at a low opacity and go over the whole thing....that might help you too, it kinda dulls out the insides of the headlight. Then just add some other reflections over that layer.

And yeah, purple looks fine..color is a matter of choice/taste so if you like it then go with it ..

Looks alot better than the first attempt IMO, still lacking something but I can't put my finger on it...
