Would there really be enough specialized chat or help here? I'm thinking if I'm working on my car I'm going to the enthusiast page dedicated to my model with all the gurus?

Uh, yeah im thinking theres a big difference between working a wacom and a wrench. I know theres a few of us here who actually own cars and attempt to work on them but im doubting a tech section is going to get much attention.

idk just a thought. i just did an engine swap and the immediately afterwards a tranny swap (got the engine in then the tranny went south) i ran into problems during the tranny swap and figured it would have been nice to bounce ideas off somebody who might actually know what they're talkin about (my family's useless when it comes to cars)

Yep that musta frustrated you some.
Was it a matter of compatability or was the tranny too wasted to handle the abuse?

I won't need it, my older brother is a genius with everything he wants, and he knows a mechanic, so I'll be asking him.
